Hubert Webb, 74, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, April 24, 2020, in a local healthcare facility.
Hubert was born in Athens, on Jan. 22, 1946. He was the son of the late Della Mae Harris Webb and John Nelson Webb Sr.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Robert, John Nelson Jr., Charles, J.W. and Albert Webb; and his sisters: Peggy Wattenbarger. Dora Robinson, Pearle Burke, Carole DeLane Webb, Frances Harris and Brenda Hester.
Hubert worked most of his life in construction. He was known for his storytelling, and he loved to tell jokes! He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Hilda White Webb of Cleveland; children: Dwayne, Michael and his wife, Donna, Tammy Rue Chancey, Troy Goins and Denise Patterson; his brother, Tommy and his wife, Pam; the mother of his children, Frances Standridge Webb; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The private Remembrance of Life service will be held for the family. Officiating will be the Rev. Roy Hogan and the Rev. Jeff Evans.
Interment will take place in Lee Cemetery in McDonald, with Albert, Eddie and Robert Robinson, Keith Webb, Junior Hester and John Paul Wattenbarger serving as casket bearers.
The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Chapel, has charge of the arrangements.
