Historic Charleston church open for tours during Cowpea Festival

The historic Charleston Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Charleston, will be open during the Cowpea Festival on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for free tours.

The church and adjoining cemetery are 157 years old.

The church is located on Railroad Street, a 10-minute walk from the Cowpea Festival at Charleston Park.

The festival is considered the town’s gift to agricultural heritage.

Admission to the festival is free. Parking $5.
