Grace Moreland


Grace Moreland, 88, a resident of Cleveland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 9, 2018.

She was born on Aug. 16, 1929, in Cleveland to the late Robert and Lily Mae Webb;and was also preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, the Rev. Lynn Moreland; and by her brothers, Bob, Donald and Billy Ray Webb.

She was a member of Philippi Baptist Church. She was retired from Bradley Memorial Hospital, where she worked as a nurse.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Gary (Veronica) and Eddie (Susan) Moreland; five grandchildren, Michele Ratliff, Melissa Thomas, Ty Moreland, Kari Sauls and Emily Lockhart; and 12 great-grandchildren, Drew Ratliff, Lauren Ratliff, Jillian Ratliff, Tyler Thomas, Tanner Thomas, Cade Moreland, Knox Moreland, Brandon Sauls, Maggie Sauls, Baylor Moreland, Lily Grace Moreland and Brooks Lockhart.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 7 o’clock today, July 11, 2018, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, North Ocoee St. Chapel, with Pastor Sammy Hooker officiating.

A private committal service will be held at a later time.

The family will receive friends today from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests that memorials be made in the memory of Mrs. Moreland to Phillippi Baptist Church, 2325 Old Harrison Pike N.W. Cleveland TN., 37311.
