Fannie Isabelle Eaves, 81, of Calhoun, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019, in a local healthcare facility.
She was a member of the Calhoun Baptist Church. She was an avid NASCAR fan and loved races at the Cleveland Speedway where she watched her son, Steve, race for over 26 years. She also enjoyed road trips to see him race.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph W. Thomas and Gussey N. Williams Thomas; sisters: Kathleen Green and Irene Byous; and brother, Bill Thomas.
Survivors include her husband, Felmet Leonard Eaves Jr.; two children: Steve (Kathy) Liner and Christina Eaves; granddaughter, Isabella (Dylan) Koons; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. this afternoon, April 18, 2019, at Calhoun Community Cemetery with the Rev. Jay McCluskey officiating.
