Victoria Aline Norwood and Corey James Evans were united in marriage in an evening ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, at a Rockmart, Georgia, venue, In the Woods.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Norwood of Cartersville, Georgia. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Evans of Cleveland.

Dr. Don Hattaway officiated the wedding, which was directed by Kathie Schramm. Vocal selections chosen by the bridal couple were performed by Kandace Stinard.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. Sarah Vaughan attended Miss Norwood as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Hayleigh James, Logan Ashe, Olivia Towe and Brittany Thompson.

The flower girl was Mary Beth Milam, cousin of the bride. The ring bearer was Braxton Hayes, special friend of the bride. 

Serving as best men were Caleb Evans and Casey Evans, brothers of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Chase Sneed, Bryson Riggs and the bride's brother, Ross Norwood.

The reception was held at the In the Woods reception hall. The couple will take a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, during the Thanksgiving holidays.

Mrs. Evans is a graduate of the University of West Georgia with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She is employed by the Cartersville City Schools system, at the Kids and Company Pre-K.

Mr. Evans has a bachelor's degree in sports management, with a minor in psychology, from the University of West Georgia. He is employed by Woodmont Country Club as an assistant golf professional.
