Pat Eleanor Elliott, 87, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, in a Chattanooga healthcare facility.

She was a member of The Church of God at Zion Hill. Her last job was as a reading grandmother to students at Oak Grove Elementary School. She moved all over Tennessee, pastoring churches with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bishop Dennis Wayne Elliott; parents, Jody and Mona Goodwin; and brother, Eddie Goodwin.

She leaves behind four loving children: one son, Barry Elliott, and three daughters: Dena Calfee, Jean and (Derk) Shields, and Joy Ingle, all of Cleveland; five grandchildren: Ashley Ingle, Jody Elliott, Kera House, Lisa Clements,and  LeAnne Henry; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Smith of Charleston; brother, Bruce Goodwin of Chattanooga; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory, with the Rev. Harvey Anders officiating.

Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens, with Dennis Henry, Jody Elliott, Ronnie Smith, Zach Tinsley, Jay Tinsley and Gerry Clements serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Sunday, from 1 to 3 p.m., prior to the service.
