Dr. Ivo Aaron Miller inducted as a
Fellow of the American College of Surgeons
Dr. Ivo Aaron Miller was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons earlier this week. He is the only oral and maxillofacial surgeon in the area to receive this honor.
The letters FACS (Fellow, American College of Surgeons) after a surgeon's name mean that the surgeon's education and training, professional qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct have passed a rigorous evaluation, and have been found to be consistent with the high standards established and demanded by the College.
A native of Cleveland, Miller is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at the Center for Oral and Facial Surgery. He practices at their Chattanooga and Cleveland offices
Miller is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
Miller possesses a full scope of surgical skills that include significant experience in dentoalveolar surgery, implants, outpatient anesthesia, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma/reconstruction, maxillofacial cosmetic surgery, and maxillofacial pathology/oncology.
