Dotsie Lemons, 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, at the family residence. 

She was the daughter of the late Annie West Russell and John David Russell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lemons; her son, James Lemons; her granddaughters, Britney Lemons and Samantha Adams; her grandsons, Stacey Duncan and William Carter Jr.; her sons-in-law, Richard Adams and Daryl Dial; and her five siblings.

She was a homemaker, and along with her husband she also worked on the farm. She loved working in her flower garden and she was a member of The Church of God Southside.

Survivors include her daughters, Judy Adams, Janet Dial, Jackie Duncan, Doris Harris and Sarah Carter, all of Cleveland; her sons, Danny Lemons and his wife, Amy, of Athens, and Jimmy Lemons and his wife, Vickey, of Cleveland; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; her sister, Frankie James of Cleveland; her brothers, Matthew Russell of Ocoee, and James "Jay" Russell and his wife, Margaret, of Calhoun; and several nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life service will be conducted on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, at 11 a.m., at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, North Ocoee Chapel, with Pastor Clint Pulliam officiating. 

Interment will follow in the New Friendship Church Cemetery with Carl Warfield Jr., Vincent Lemons, Joshua Duncan, Brandon Richmond, Jeremy Chambers and Tanner Nations serving as casket bearers. 

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. this evening at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, North Ocoee Chapel.
