Donald Stanton Epperson, 93, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019, at his home.
He was born in Charleston on Dec. 20, 1925.
He retired as a truck driver from Cleveland Express after 30 years of service. Donald attended North Cleveland Baptist Church with his family, but was a lifelong member of Charleston United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by her parents, James Harrison Epperson and Martha Stanton Epperson; brother, J.H. Epperson; and three sisters: Virginia Tinsley, Ruth Trimm and Peggy Marr.
Survivors include his devoted and loving wife of 66 years, Betty J. Epperson; his son, Donnie Epperson; daughters: Donna Remillard and husband, Wayne, and Connie Earby and husband, Ralph; sister, Sophia Jane Tucker; brother, Mart Allen Epperson; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Greg Parker.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2019, in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home, with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating.
His family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
