Don David Johnson, 78, of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, surrounded by his family.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, G.W. and Cordia Johnson; and brother, Junior Johnson.
Don is survived by his wife, Carolyn Johnson; children: Tammy Findley and Angela Hamill, both of Cleveland, and Ricky (Michelle) Johnson of Cohutta, Ga.; granddaughter, Danielle (Brandon) Fritz of Dawnville, Ga.; two great-grandchildren: Aria Gravley and Avalyn Fritz; and siblings: Barbara Fryar of Holly Ridge, N.C., and Josephine Ferguson of Walland; and a host of nieces, nephews and family, too many to list.
The family received friends on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel, with the funeral officiated by the Rev. Steve Ailor.
Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. today in United Memorial Gardens in Dalton, Ga., for a 2 p.m. graveside service.
