It’s time to rev those engines once again, as the Disabled American Veterans Car Show is happening this Saturday, Aug. 11 from 5-8 p.m. at Bradley Square Mall.
Taking place on the second Saturday of each month, the event is open to the public and is a way for residents of Cleveland to meet local veterans, fellowship and even enter a car of their own for judging.
Car judging begins at 7 p.m., and no entries are accepted after 7 p.m.
Various foods will be available including hot dogs, soft drinks and homemade ice cream. The event is free to attend and chat with veterans, but costs $15 to enter a car for judging. All proceeds go to local veterans and allow vets' organizations to continue providing necessary services for those less fortunate, such as installing wheelchair ramps.
The second Saturday Disabled American Veterans Car Show runs from April to October 2018, with the October show running from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
