Curley Dan “Danny” Debity, 78, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at a local hospital.

He was retired from Maytag/Magic Chef/Whirlpool Corporation and was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Head Debity; sons: Clayton Debity, Steven Debity and Gerald Debity; parents, Jack and Mary Debity; sisters: Blake George, Sylvia Carroll, Blanch Giles, Oca Bonine and Mary Joe Debity; brothers: Mayburn Debity, Mayford Debity, Coye Debity, Gar Debity and Dock Debity.

Survivors include his son, Mark Debity and wife, Elvia, of Bowling Green, Ky.; daughter, Mary Anne Partin and husband, Darrell, of Cleveland; and grandchildren: Cory Barker, Logan Debity, Amanda McSpadden, Suzanne Boyd and Amy Debity.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, May 24, 2020, in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Archey officiating.

Interment will follow in Epperson Cemetery with Victor Debity, Robert Debity, Joey Debity, Jamie Debity, Logan Debity and Jackson Debity serving as pallbearers.

A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends today, from noon to 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
