CSCC announces Polk County honor students


Cleveland State Community College has announced the talented academic students hailing from Polk County for the 2017 fall semester.

Each semester, those students achieving a 4.0 GPA are recognized by being placed on the President’s List, Cleveland State’s highest academic honor. The Vice President for Academic Affairs will recognize outstanding academic students maintaining a 3.5 to 3.99 GPA by placing their names on the Dean’s List. Those students achieving a 3.0 to 3.49 GPA are recognized by being placed on the Honor Roll.

To qualify for the awards, a student must have completed at least 12 credit hours of college-level courses during the term. 

President’s List

Jefferey Bodley, Justin Deal, Abigail Harbison, Caitlin Jones, Sydney McAbee, Lauren Passmore, Allyson Shaner, Grant Smith and Roy Thomason. 

Dean’s List

Elizabeth Allen, Hunter Amelung, Cole Baxter, Brooklyn Burchfiel, Jacob Burger, Brandon Burgess, Harlie Chastain, Anne Cox, Dylan Davis, Amber Dillard, Summer Duggan, Ivy Falls, Stacy Harris, Mark Hedden, Jarrod Payne, Abigail Plemons, Peyton Stewart, Ashley Swallows, Shannon Tallent and Charles Woody. 

Honor Roll

Alexis Bramlett, Christine Campbell, Sissy Chastain, Jamie Dykes, Allie Foote, Kimberly Galloway, Dakota Harris, Kacie Hood, Dawson Houston, Micah Ketchens, Jill Martin, Kaitlyn McClary, Christopher Mull, Bailey Richardson, Zachary Seay and Katie Tinsley.
