The Cleveland State Lady Cougars suffered a tough defeat at home against Motlow State on Wednesday, falling to the Lady Bucks 81-66. 
 
The Cougars fared no better, losing to the Motlow men by a score of 68-60
 
Za’kkria Robinson led the CSCC women with 15 points while chipping in four rebounds, an assist and a steal. Charisma Barner recorded a double-double, scoring 12 points and a team-high 12 rebounds. Asjah Harrell also chipped in 14 points, a team-high four assists, three rebounds and two steals.
 
Jaquez Hicks was a bright spot in the Cougars' loss, tying a career-high with 26 points and securing a double-double with 11 rebounds. Jakobey Hitchens also reached double-figures, scoring 13 points while also recording six rebounds and two steals.
 
The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday at Columbia State. Tipoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. for the women, followed by the men at 5.
