Constance Bell Ferguson

Constance Bell Ferguson, 86, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at the family residence.

She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Pauline Short, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Lee Ferguson; four sons, Roger, Kenny, Michael and Randy Ferguson; brother, Paul G. Short; and sisters, Grace Cantrell and Nancy Antone.

Mrs. Ferguson enjoyed sewing, making candles and Christmas centerpieces, and also making dolls. She was a jack of all trades and loved life. She very much loved her family and the Lord. She is at rest now. She was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include her children, Fred Ferguson of Phoenix, Gloria Sandlan of Flat Rock, Mich., Richard of Taylor of Michigan, Patty Ferguson Arbelo of Black Rock, Conn., Diane Canipe of Cleveland, twins, Bobby Ferguson and Barbara Casson of Cleveland, Jeffery Ferguson of Michigan and Becky Sevilla of Britton, Mich.; 45 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Danforth of Columbia, S.C., Rebecca Burrell of Ocoee; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Avenue Chapel.

The interment will follow in the Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
