CLEMSON, S.C. – Terrence R. Oglesby of Benton recently graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor of arts degree in communication.

Oglesby was among nearly 3,700 students who received degrees at ceremonies May 10 and 11, 2018, in Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, South Carlolina.

Christine Wolfersheim  graduates 

from Southern Illinois University 

Christine M. Wolfersheim of Old Fort graduated from the Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s campus on May 12.

She received her bachelor of arts in psychology.

Flock named to Campbellsville U.

president's list for spring 2018

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The academic honors' president's list for the spring 2018 semester has been announced by Dr. Donna Hedgepath, Campbellsville University's provost and vice president for academic affairs.

Ashlyn Nicole Flock, a senior from Charleston, has been named to Campbellsville University's president's list for spring 2018:

The academic honors' list recognizes students who achieve a GPA of 3.50 or above for the semester with a course load of at least 12 hours. The spring 2018 academic honors' list includes a total of 651 students, with 286 named to the president's list for achieving a 4.0 GPA, and 365 named to the dean's list for achieving a 3.5 to 3.99 GPA.

Roane State student Ellison 

of Decatur receives honor

HARRIMAN – Ansley Ellison of Decatur was honored for academic achievement during the 2017-18 academic year at Roane State Community College.

Ellison was honored as a President's Award nominee at Roane State's annual Awards Night.

Roane State is a two-year college providing transfer programs, career-preparation programs and continuing education. Founded in 1971, the college has campuses in Crossville, Harriman, Huntsville, Jamestown, Knoxville, LaFollette, Lenoir City, Oak Ridge and Wartburg.

Cleveland's Swafford makes 

dean's list at Emory & Henry 

EMORY, Va. – Isabel Swafford of Cleveland was named to the Emory & Henry College spring 2018 dean's list.

Swafford was among more than 200 students named to the spring 2018 dean's list.

To qualify, students must achieve at least a 3.6 (A minus) GPA and must have completed at least 12 credit hours of course work during the semester.
