The Gum Springs Baptist Church VBS theme will be a "Week on the Farm" through Friday, from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m. Dinner will be provided from 5:45 to 6:20. Each night there will be a dress-up theme. The church is located at 383 Gum Springs Road in Georgetown.

Hampton Drive Baptist Church, 1940 Hampton Drive S.E. in Cleveland, will have Crystle Elam singing July 22, at 11 a.m.  Lunch will be served. There will be no Sunday school or evening service.

Vacation Bible school will be held July 23 through 27, 7 to 8:30 nightly, at Hampton Drive Baptist Church, 1940 Hampton Drive S.E.

First United Methodist Church will have a Rummage Sale on Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the church's Christian Life Center. Proceeds will benefit mission projects. The event is sponsored by the United Methodist Women.

Crystle Elam will sing July 22, 4 p.m., at Bradley County Healthcare, 2910 Peerless Road N.W.

Community Chapel Church, 1807 Blythe Ave., will have its monthly food giveaway today, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 479-2143.

Vacation Bible school will be held through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon, at East Cleveland  Seventh-day Adventist Church. Theme is "Game On."

Buck Beaver will speak Sunday, 10:30 a.m. and 2x2 will sing at 6 p.m. Sunday at Lighthouse Ministries, 281 Ocoee St.

The Young at Heart group from Big Spring United Methodist Church will meet Thursday, 9 a.m., at Old Fort Restaurant.

Alligiance will sing Sunday, 11 a.m., at  EastView Baptist Church, No Pone Road in Georgetown. Lunch will follow.
