Christopher 'Brentley' Lansing

Christopher “Brentley” Lansing, 19, a resident of the Cleveland area, passed away on Friday June 8, 2018.

Brentley was a member of the Tunnel Hill United Methodist Church and attended Coahulla Creek High School.

He was a very athletic young man who enjoyed playing almost every sport and enjoyed being outdoors. Those who knew Brentley knew him for his genuine, loving heart. He would frequently go out of his way to help others in need. He was an extremely gifted artist who used his talents to advocate for mental illness, something he cared very strongly about. Brentley will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Liz Lansing (James Carden); dad, Jim Lansing (June); brother, Austin Lansing; sisters: Brook York, McKayla Elmore, Candace Bradam, and Lindsey Bradam; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 16, 2018, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road N.W., Cleveland, TN 37311.

A Celebration of Life service will directly follow the visitation, beginning at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Jay Tenney officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, we would like to ask you to make a donation to any suicide prevention or crisis center, or any mental health awareness charity.

You are invited to share a personal memory of Brentley, or your condolences with his family, at his online memorial located at www.companionfunerals.com
