On  Feb 2, the newly formed Chestuee Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting at the Kinser Church Family Center, with Regent Anita Green presiding.  In recognition of Women’s Heart Health Month, the ladies wore red ribbons and flowers.

Bradley County's newest DAR chapter meets the first Saturday, 1 to 3 p.m., of the month at the Kinser Church Family Center from 1 to 3 p.m.

Sue Geren Diehl, member and former librarian of the Montreat College in Montreat, N.C., presented the chapter a book titled "To Try Men's Souls," written by Newt Gringrich and William R. Forstchen – a first of many presentations to the chapter's library.
