David Riggs will be the speaker on Wednesday, 7 a.m., for the His Hands Extended devotionals at Garden Plaza, 3500 Keith St. The devotions are usually approximately 30 minutes in length and include a speaker, gospel music, intercessory prayer and fellowship.

The Rev. Charles Carroll will be the speaker for revival services at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1227 Powerline Drive. Services are at 6 tonight and 7 nightly Monday through Wednesday. There will be special singers nightly.

Enlighten '19, a day of help, hope and healing, will be held from 4  to 8 p.m. Saturday at South Cleveland Church of God at 1846 Volunteer Blvd. The event is being held to lift the darkness on mental health and will feature several speakers. Those wanting to attend may register at enlighten2019.evenbrite.com.

Big Spring United Methodist Church will have its monthly covered-dish dinner on Wednesday, 6 p.m.
