Billie Jean Bennett, 90, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020.
She was born on Aug. 31, 1930, to the late Thomas Brent Williams and Alice Pearl Gann Williams.
Jean was a tremendous woman of God who always had God first, family and then friends.
She was married to James L. Bennett, one of the founding members of Waterville Baptist Church, for 68 years. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; husband of 68 years, James Bennett; niece, Alice Joe Gann; uncles: “Red” Gann and Thomas Brent Williams Jr.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons: Dennis Bennett and James Bennett Jr.; granddaughter, Misty Bennett; and great-granddaughter, London Bennett.
Jean will be laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery with her husband, James.
