Billie Frances Wright Cox, 75, of Englewood, passed away Nov 5, 2017, at her home.

She was born in Decatur and lived in McMinn County since 1978, and was a faithful member of Dixon Avenue Baptist Church in Englewood. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles L. and Mary Belle Holland Wright; her husband, Buddy Cox; two brothers, Buddy Wright and Terry Wright; and sister-in-law, Norma Wright. 

Billie is survived by two children: Sharon Renee’ Brock of Englewood, and Michael Edward Cox, and wife, Jennifer, of White House; three grandchildren: Hunter Brock of Etowah, and Gavin Cox and Duncan Cox, both of Whitehouse; one sister, Elizabeth Correll of Athens; two brothers: Earl Wright, and wife, Shirley, of Decatur, and Frank Wright of Decatur; and several nieces, nephews, other extended family members and numerous friends.

The funeral will be held at 7.p.m. today, Nov. 7, 2017, from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Etowah with the Rev. Allan Watson officiating.

Interment will be held 10.a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, at McMinn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends today prior to the service from 4 to 7 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Dixon Avenue Baptist Church in Englewood, TN., in lieu of flowers.
