Beulah Jean Newton

Beulah Jean Newton, 94, of Ocoee, passed away Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at her residence.

She was retired as a nurse’s aide. She was an avid gardener and loved working in her flowers. She adored her animals, but her greatest love was her kids and grandkids. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Newton Jr.; parents, Jace and Martha Parton Tucker; and eight brothers and eight sisters.

She is survived by her children: Juda (James) Peter of Springboro, Pa., Walter (Kitty) Summers Jr. of Ocoee,  Juanita (Bill) Sanislo of Ocoee, Elsa Gabriel of Roaming Shores, Ohio, Mona Hubbard of Rock Creek, Ohio, and Evelyn Nemec of Ocoee; grandchildren: Dana Buell, Daniel Buell, James Sanislo, Troy Close, Steve Cox, Stephanie Boczar, Travis Close, Mandi Forrestal, Jamie Hedding, and Candy Allen; 26 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Dewey Tucker, of Indiana.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Pastor Robert Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Newton Family Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at the funeral home prior to the service.
