Bethel University confers degrees on Clevelanders

MCKENZIE – Bethel University held its fall 2018 commencement in December, at the school's Rosemary and Harry Crisp II arena.

The following students from Cleveland were among those who earned degrees:

 • Charles David Denton, bachelor of science in criminal justice, with honors
• James Richard Burnette, AAS in associate-criminal justice

A total of 1,108 Bethel University students graduated during the 2018 calendar year.

Established in 1842, Bethel University is one of the oldest universities in the state of Tennessee.

Bethel U. is affiliated with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and offers bachelor's, master's and associate degrees through a variety of learning platforms. For more information about Bethel University, go to www.bethelu.edu.
