Chattanooga — Beltone, a global leader in hearing aids and hearing health for the past 77 years, announced the launch of the Beltone Food Drive to help feed people in need in communities throughout select cities across the U.S.
The Beltone location, 400 Stuart Road N.E. Suite 1, in Cleveland, joins others nationwide to collect food, offer donors free hearing aid screenings or batteries Sept. 11 through 23.
Food drive donors will receive their choice of a free four-pack of batteries for hearing aid users (limit one per person) or, for non-hearing aid users, a free hearing screening.
Hearing screenings, which take 30 to 90 minutes, set a benchmark for a person’s ability to hear clearly.
A professional screening can help with decisions on their current and future hearing needs. Call your local office to schedule a free hearing screening appointment.
Beltone will match all food donations with a monetary cash donation to Feeding America, a nationwide nonprofit organization dedicated to finding community-focused solutions to hunger and poverty.
“The Beltone Food Drive is another way our company improves the quality of life in the communities we serve,” said Beltone President Corrine Perritano.
“Our mission is to help people hear better through our products and professional hearing care services, but we truly enjoy going beyond this by being a good community partner and helping people in need.”
