BCHS Class of 1980 reunion plans underway

Posted
The Bradley Central High School Class of 1980 reunion committee has met several times in anticipation of its upcoming 40th reunion.

"Please understand that while we hope for the best, we realize that the potential for necessary changes exists," committee member Jeff Pettit said. "During these uncertain times, we have planned as well as possible, but also understand that some changes may be necessary. Please know that we will communicate quickly and clearly with you if changes occur."

Originally planned to be held at Cleveland Country Club, the main reunion activities will instead take place at Las Margaritas  on 25th Street. The change of venue was necessitated due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Reunion activities include attending the Bradley Central football game on Friday, Oct. 9, with social time at 6 p.m. for the game at 7:30; and dinner and music on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 6 p.m. at Las Margaritas on 25th Street. Attendees are responsible for buying their own tickets to the game Friday night, and for their own dinner on Saturday, as well as a $5 per-person cover charge at Las Margaritas.

Class of 1980 members are asked to visit the class Facebook page to attend or reply at the Bradley Central High School Class of 1980 40th reunion planning database.

"Please help spread the word and we hope to see you there," Pettit said.
