Barbara Jean Ellis, 69, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, went home to her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020.
She was the daughter of the late James and Katherine Scoggins Clingan. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 22 years, the Rev. Albert Ellis, pastor of Benton Pike House of Prayer where she was known as the “Mother” of the church. She was also preceded in death by her stepdaughters, Ava Ellis, who was the light of her life and Eva Woody; her infant brother, Jimmy Ray Clingan; her grandparents; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services will announce survivors and complete funeral arrangements.
