Baker-Stepp engagement


Jerry and Janice Baker of Cleveland announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Cara Roseann Baker, to Matthew Christopher Stepp, son of Michael and Brenda Stepp.

The bride-elect is the sister of Matthew Jerrod Baker of Santa Ana, Calif.. and the granddaughter of the late Virgil and Sarah Miller and Claude and Dorothy Baker.

Miss Baker is a graduate of Walker Valley High School and received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Lee University. She is employed as a first-grade teacher at Ooltewah Elementary School. She is a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church.

The future bridegroom is the brother of John Gray, Amanda Stepp and Aaron Stepp of Cleveland,  and the grandson of the late Lewis and Pauline Davis and Milford and Jessie Stepp.

Mr. Stepp is a graduate of Bradley Central High School and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from East Tennessee State University. He is employed by Volkswagen Group of America.
The couple will wed in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and are planning a wedding reception to be held in June.
