Houston — “The Guide,” by author Sarah Prince Morgenthaler of Cleveland has been named as a finalist in the Romantic Suspense category of the 2017 Golden Heart® awards, according to information by Romance Writers of America.

The Golden Heart award recognizes excellence in unpublished romance fiction manuscripts.

Up to 1,000 romance manuscripts were judged by fellow authors in seven categories and narrowed to approximately 50 finalists. Finalist manuscripts advance to the final round of the competition, which is judged by romance fiction editors.

Winners of the awards will be announced July 27 at an Awards Ceremony to be held at the 37th Annual RWA Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Morgenthaler attends First Baptist Church in Cleveland, and is an author of clean and Christian romance.
