Join IN the activities at your Cleveland-Bradley County Public Library this week:

— Monday at 4:30 p.m., the teens gather for gaming in the Teen Zone. They have board and card games as well as Wii and Xbox gaming..

— Tuesday, join Lego Club Jr. for ages 4-7 as they challenge each other to build with only 2x2 bricks. Thursday the club for ages 8-12 will be beginning work on Lego Weekend projects. Both of these clubs meet at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room.

— Tuesday night the Library Book Club will meet to discuss “Cane River” by Lalita Tademy. Join them at 6:30 p.m. in the Carmichael Room for a lively book discussion. All are welcome.

— A special evening performance with the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera String Quintet will be Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. This program is for all ages and will take place in the Community Room.

— The Friends of the Library Association will host its Book and Coffee series in the History Branch Parlor Room at 10 a.m. Friday. This month Smoky Mountain author, Wally Avett will be reviewing his book “Rebel Bushwhacker.” This free event is open to the public and FOLA provides the coffee.

— The library offers free Zumba classes every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday morning at 8 a.m.

Taylor’s Elementary School faculty and students who taught or attended the school from 1970 to 2000 are having a reunion on April 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the gym on the campus. This is a free event.

Bradley CentRal High School class of 1967 will hold its 50th class reunion on July 21 at the Coffey Barn, 2288 Benton Pike N.E., Friday — a barbecue. On July 22, a dinner/dance is set at the Cleveland Country Club beginning with a social hour at 5:30. Contact Sandra Rhodes, 3992 Rolling Brook Circle N.E., Cleveland TN 37323, to make reservations by June 30.

Bradley Central High School class of 1982 will have a radio show reunion on May 20. Phase 1 will be live on WOOP FM featuring former faculty and students. Live calls will be taken at 614-5553 — share your memories. Phase 2 will be a formal reunion in the Village Green from 7 to 10 p.m. There is no fee to attend either event (casual dress).

The Arts Center announces its monthly lunchtime series, Arts on the Side. The public is invited to bring a “brown bag” lunch at noon on the first Tuesday of each month and enjoy a free concert or art demonstration.

“Thomas The Tank” invites little engineers to a day of friendship and family fun on April 22, 23, 29, 30, May 6 and 7 at Tennessee Valley Railroad, Chattanooga.
