Advance Master Beef Certification sessions set at Extension office
Advanced Master Beef Certification to meet the TAEP Enhancement Grant will be held during September at the Bradley County Extension Office, 95 Church St. S.E.
Preregistration will be held Aug. 26, 6:30 to 8 p.m., according to Kelley Frady, Polk County Extension agent. For more information, call Frady at 423-338-4503.
The classes and instructors are as follows:
Sept. 3 — Fencing, David Bilderback
Sept. 5 — NRCS programs, Chase Hicks and Meaghan Maddux
Sept. 10 — Reproduction, Jessy Shanks
Sept. 12 — Forages, Gene Robinson
Sept. 17 — Marketing, Dr. Andrew Griffith
Sept. 19 — BQA and Makeup if they miss
Sept. 24 — Genetics, Thomas Greenlee; and
Sept. 26 — Transport and Handling, Larry Mitchell and Tim Woods
Programs in agriculture and natural resources, 4-H youth development, family and consumer sciences, and resource development, University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Agriculture and county governments are cooperating.
