Under a blistering sky with temperatures in the high 90s, the Lady Raiders battled Soddy-Daisy to a 1-1 halftime tie. But a strong second half of press offense by the Lady Trojans was too much for Cleveland to handle in the wilting heat as the Lady Raiders fell by a final score of 7-3.


Soccer balls filled the air of the Greater Cleveland Soccer Complex on a scorching Thursday afternoon as teams from Knoxville to Cookeville to Chattanooga and everywhere in between descended on Cleveland for the annual three-day Cleveland Classic Soccer Tournament.


The final game of the day on Thursday night, under the bright lights of the Greater Cleveland Soccer Complex, saw Farragut and Walker Valley knock heads on Day 1 of the Cleveland Classic Soccer Tournament.


The Cleveland State  cross country teams raced well in a stacked field of teams at the University of North Alabama Invitational in Florence, Alabama, last weekend.
