The Ocoee Region Beekeepers Association  meets Aug. 20, 7 p.m., at the Municipal Building, 6496 Hwy. 411 in Benton. This month is an open house. There will be discussions about keeping bees and helping other pollinators. For information, contact orba.tn@gmaill.com.

The next bi-monthly meeting of the Bradley Memorial Hospital Retirees and former employees will be Wednesday, 11:30 a.m., at Golden Corral Restaurant. For information , contact Tommie Vincent at 423-790-0907.

The regular monthly meeting of the Bradley County Planning Commission will be held  Thursday,   6 p.m., in   the Bradley County Courthouse Commission Room.

Chamber of Commerce's Women's Council Luncheon will be Aug. 19, noon to 1 p.m., at the Chamber. Laurie McNulty's presentation will be on "Critical Conversations — Life/Estate Planning." Registration deadline is Thursday. Cost is $15 for members and $25 for nonmembers.Cal the Chamber at 423-472-6587.

Bradley County Democratic Party will meet Aug. 19, 7 p.m., at Bradley County Courthouse Annex, 155 Broad St. N.W. Kristy Wilkinson from Tennessee Federation of Democratic Women, will speak.
