The Library will be closed July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
Help for the Homeless
The library is partnering with The Caring Place to provide additional resources for our homeless patrons. A licensed clinical social worker will be on site Monday from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the downstairs study area to meet with individuals needing assistance. If the study rooms are not available, she will see clients in the Carmichael Room. If you or someone you know is in need of help, don’t miss this opportunity.
Summer Reading Ages 6-12
Find out why "Libraries ROCK" with fun activities, crafts, and stories. Choose a weekly time that's best for you. Please sign-up on our website, www.clevelandlibrary.org & click on the "Summer Reading 2018" tab. Meets Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Community room and again at 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Teen Zone Gaming
Join us for drop-in Wii and X-Box gaming in the Teen Zone! Ages 13-17. We'll have Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Just Dance, and more! You may bring an E-rated multiplayer game to share. Email teenzone@clevelandlibrary,org for more information.Meets every Monday 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Preschool Story Time
Lively story time for ages 3 to 5 years, with crafts, music and stories. Meets Tuesday from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the Community Room and again on Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Adult Movie Matinee - "Brigadoon"
Look on a map and you won't find it. Look in your heart and there it will be, rising from the highland mists. Enchantment is a place - and a movie - called Brigadoon. Lerner and Loewe's 1947 Broadway hit stars Gene Kelly, Cyd Charisse and Van Johnson. Rated G. Showing Tuesday in the Community Room from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Story time for ages birth to 3 yrs...stories, music & fun activities! Meets Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon and again from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Community Room.
Teen Anime Club
Join us for anime and Japanese snacks! This month, we'll begin the series Seraph of the End. Ages 13-17 only. Please email email@example.com with questions. Meets Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room.
If you are a good reader, good singer or good at playing an instrument, join us for the library's first musical for children. It's all about having fun. Meet us this Thursday in the Community Room from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. for rehearsal. Our performance for family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 26 at 7pm. Dress rehearsal will be on the 25th of July. This program is for ages 4 to 17.
All ages are welcome to a Lego building event Friday at 12:15 p.m. in the Community
Room. Come build with us!
Teen Summer Reading After Hours

The Book Nook
Don’t forget to stop by the Book Nook the next time you visit the library! Friends of the Library operates and maintains the Nook, where you can find gently used fiction and non-fiction books at bargain prices. The Book Nook is located near the General Fiction department on the first floor.
Stop by the display of antique and collectible books on the main floor lobby the next time you visit the library. A book is provided for silent auction bids if you are interested in purchasing.
