Google and Gmail

Learn the basics of using Google and Gmail for free! Join us Monday from 9  to 11 a.m.


WiggleWorms is a baby program that targets children 2 years of age and under. Babies with their guardians will be listening to stories, rolling and bouncing, waddling and toddling to music including classical and multicultural, all for the purpose of developing motor and social skills. Happens Monday from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Community Room.

TAG (Teen Advisory Group)

Join us Monday from 4 to 4:30 p.m., as we plan for upcoming events and fun activities for teens. We meet in the Teen Zone. Email teenzone@clevelandlibrary,org for more information. For ages 13-17.

Toddler Tech
A technology petting zoo for ages 2 to 5, Osmo tablets, Dash and Dot robot, Codeapillar, literacy- driven Spell & Speak Sea Turtle, the Color Chameleon, and eWriters. Meets Monday, from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. in the Community Room.

Looking for a fun way to get in shape?  Join us for free classes offered at 8 a.m
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Google Sheets
Join us Tuesday  from 9 to 11 a.m. for a free class that will teach you the basis of using this free spreadsheet program.

Preschool Story Time
Lively story time for ages 3-5 with crafts, music and stories. Meets in the Community Room Tuesday and again on Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Google Docs
Come to this free class on Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. and learn the basic functions of working with Google Docs.

Baby Bookworms
Story time for infants to 3-year-olds. Stories, music and fun activities! Meets on Thursday from  10 a.m. noon, and again from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Community Room.

Teen Anime Club
Join us Thursday for anime and Japanese snacks! This month, we will be watching Fairy Tail! This program meets in the Community Room from 4:30 to  6:30 p.m. Ages 13-17 only. Please email teenzone@clevelandlibrary.org with questions.

Midday Build
All ages are welcome to a LEGO building event. Meets Friday  at 12:15 p.m., in the Community Room. Come build with us!

VITA Tax Assistance
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program offers free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. No appointment is needed-Drop in service.Please bring: Photo ID of taxpayer and spouse (if filing jointly). Bring Social Security cards for dependents.  If possible, bring your 2017 tax filing. Meets Saturdays through April 14 in the Carmichael Room from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Family Story Time
Join us for fun stories for the whole family with craft activities. Meets in the Community Room Saturday from 2 to 2:30 p.m.

Law Library
If you need to research a legal issue, the library has a Law Library located in the Reference Department on the second floor. We have a complete library of Tennessee State Statutes available for use. Check it out on your next visit!

Collectible books
Stop by the display of antique and collectible books on the main floor lobby the next time you visit the library. A book is provided for silent auction bids if you are interested in purchasing.

The FOLA Book Nook
Don’t forget to stop by the Book Nook the next time you visit the library!  Friends of the Library Association operates and maintains the Nook, where you can find gently used fiction and non-fiction books at bargain prices.  Science Fiction, Mystery and Fantasy sections have all been recently added to the FOLA  collection.  Each month,  special sales are  displayed on the table in the Book Nook area. An assortment of books dealing with romance, love and Valentines were on sale for the month of February. The Nook is located near the General Fiction department on the first floor.

Mark your calendar and make plans to attend the FOLA annual book sale, March 22 and 23 in the Community Room. Times and more details to be announced soon.
