2018 Distinguished Young Women scholarship program to be held on March 25

The 2018 Distinguished Young Women of Cleveland Scholarship Program will be held Saturday, March 25, in the George Johnson auditorium located on the campus of CSCC.

Tickets are on sell at Perry's Petals for $20, which includes a program book. You will need to pay with cash or a check payable to Pilot Club of Cleveland. Any remaining tickets will be available at the door.

Nine young ladies from area high schools will vie for the title of 2018 Distinguished Young Woman of Cleveland. The theme of the program is “Generations.” The doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 7.

This year's event will be emceed by Mr. Darrell Patterson and Dr. Don Robinson. The current DYW winner, Halla Maynard, who is also the 2017 TN DYW will be featured as well. Halla is currently a senior at Bradley Central High School.

Cleveland’s program is sponsored by The Pilot Club of Cleveland which is a part Of Pilot International. Pilot’s emphasis and community outreach focuses on brain related diseases such as Alzheimer’s as well as those afflicted with brain trauma.
