Students of Westmore Music Academy presented their annual Christmas recital on Dec. 14 in the sanctuary of Westmore Church of God. A variety of Christmas pieces was performed as well as vocal selections and classical pieces on the violin.

The program featured the students of Rita Ready, academy director, Judy Warrington, Vera Voznyuk and Hannah Daulton.

A variety of Christmas pieces was performed as well as vocal selections and classical pieces on the violin.

Those participating in the recital performing on the piano were Lane Estrade, Lillian Rogers, Julie Edwards, Emily Powers, Michael Winters, Maddie Morris, Mattie Moore, Brayden Maness, Maria Dunn, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Rox, Olivia Odum, Yana Bayles, Lexi McKenzie, Evie Mazzolini, Jaylee Dyer, Abby Baylers, Garce Greenwood and Luke Morrison.

Playing violin solos were Isabel Adkins, Joelee Fugate, Alayna Itson and Esther Brantley. Vocal performances were given by Abigail Jackson, Hallie Wielfaert, Kimi Peltier, Natalie Schweizer and Alia McKnight.

Westmore Academy offers private instruction in piano, violin, guitar and voice, as well as other instruments. Kindermusic for children, ages newborn to 7, is also offered, with teacher Dee Lancaster. The spring semester begins Jan. 6.
