The Polk County High School Education Foundation, left, is busy preparing for the fundraising dinner to be held March 25 at First Baptist Church in Benton. Guest speaker for the night will be former astronaut Dr. Roger K. Crouch, a 1958 Polk County High School graduate. An accomplished and entertaining speaker, Crouch has been on two space flights and will share some of his experiences. A few tickets are still available and may be purchased from any member of the foundation. From left are Jane Lawson, Ray Beckler, Dr. Phyllis Miller, Carolyn Gerry, Matt Whitt and Jerry Stephens. Wilma Jean Pippenger is a member of the foundation, also.
