“We have selected Taylor Elementary for adoption because it is one of the smallest schools in the Bradley County School System. It might have been easier just to give a dollar donation to a large charity, but by personally selecting school supplies and instructional tools for the teachers and students of Taylor Elementary, we have the satisfaction of knowing our support fills a need in our local community,” Tennessee Chapter O dorector Brenda Perkinson said.
Elizabeth Kaylor, principal of Taylor Elementary, expressed her appreciation for the donations.
“Teachers were especially excited to receive presentation clickers for their interactive whiteboards because it will have a direct impact on the way they can use technology to deliver instruction,” Kaylor said. “Chapter O has also provided us with many of the traditional school supplies we use on a daily basis. We are truly grateful to be adopted by such a generous group.”
