The Baptist Collegiate Ministry of Cleveland is hosting its second annual Starving Artists Auction on Friday.

Student and local artists have donated their art to be sold in a silent auction and funds raised will go directly to support a local organization, Family Promise of Bradley County.

This event is open to the community and will be held at the Baptist Student Center, which is located across the street from Cleveland State Community Collegeʼs campus.

The silent auction will begin at 6 p.m. and will continue until 8 p.m. Hors dʼoeuvres and refreshments will be provided.

Last year, 20 artists donated more than 100 items collectively. The silent auction raised approximately $1,300.

Family Promise is a nonprofit that deals with issue of homelessness in our community in a holistic, careful fashion.
