Southeast Tennessee Veterans Home Council presents its fourth annual golf tournament
Southeast Tennessee Veterans Home Council presents its fourth annual golf tournament June 1 at Chatata Valley Golf Course. Registration is 7 a.m. for the 8 a.m. four-man select shot shotgun start. Proceeds from the tournament will go toward construction and programs at the proposed home at 1940 Westland Drive in south Cleveland. Team cash prizes are $400 for first place, $300 for fifth place and $200 for ninth place. Prizes are offered for the straightest drive and closest to the pin. A $10,000 prize is waiting for someone to score a hole-in-one on No. 8; or a 2013 Kawasaki Mule valued at $10,000 from R & S Tractor is waiting for someone with a hole-in-one on hole No. 2.
