Alina Sherlin, 43, charged in the Sunday night shooting death of Robert Dewayne “Rowdy” Julian, 45, is being held without bond at the Bradley County Jail following an initial appearance Monday in Bradley County Sessions Court.
She was scheduled for a second court appearance later today.
Sherlin has been charged with first-degree murder, according to Cleveland Police Department officials.
Since her arrest, very little new information has been released by Cleveland police investigators about the Greenwood Avenue shooting.
It is known that Julian and Sherlin shared an avid interest in motorcycle riding, according to Lt. Mark Gibson of the Cleveland Police Department Criminal Investigations Division.
Sherlin was taken into custody Sunday evening after police responded to her Greenwood Avenue residence.
Evie West, information officer for CPD said officers had responded earlier that evening to a verbal argument.
West also said after Sherlin allegedly shot Julian, she reportedly texted several of her friends who in turn contacted police.
CPD officers responded to the residence for a welfare check and were refused entry. Officers then walked around the house and were able to find a window where they observed a body lying on the floor of the home’s living room.
West said a rifle was next to the body. Officers then gained entry to the residence and discovered Julian had suffered a gunshot wound to his chest.
