Ronald Wayne Dyer, 68, of Cleveland, was called to his heavenly home on May 23, 2012.

He was of Baptist faith and proud to have served in the 1st Infantry Division of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, Loyal Houston Dyer of Gadsden, Ala.

Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Martha “Marty” Dyer; mother, Nelda Bishop Dyer; brother, Allen Dyer of Gadsden; sons: Eric Wayne Dyer and wife, Tania Dyer, Ronnie Jonathan Dyer and Clint Van Dyer all of Cleveland; and grandchildren: Lillian Dyer, Leaf Dyer, Eduardo Dyer, and Danielle Dyer.

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at 2 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
