Roger William Nunley, 51, a resident of McDonald, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.

He was born in Rockford, Ill., on July 10, 1961. He and his family moved during his early childhood to the Bradley County area and he has made this his home for over 43 years. He was of the Baptist faith. He was employed with HD Concepts of Cleveland as a graphics designer.

He is preceded in death by his father, Don Nunley.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Joann Nunley; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Kenneth Akins; brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Colleen Nunley; niece, Brandy Payne; nephew, Scott Carter; special friend, Janie Keefe; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and numerous other extended family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ricky Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow with Robert, Ricky, Jamie, Shawn, Johnny and Jordon Thompson serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 7 in the parlor of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service, located at 2415 Georgetown Road.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to The Nunley Family at P. O. Box 4681 Cleveland, TN 37320 to offset his medical bills.
