Morgan Akins and Jeremy Roenneburg, both of Georgetown, were united in marriage in an evening ceremony on June 20, 2010, at the Historic Fillauer House.

The bride is the daughter of Tim and Joy Akins of Georgetown. She is the granddaughter of Jack and Carolina Holloway of Cleveland and the late Everett and Hazel Akins.

The bridegroom is the son of Gary and Karen Roenneburg of Georgetown. He is the grandson of Allen and Paulina Roenneburg, Darlyne and Peter Mauirro, Lorraine Freeman and Dale and Connie Freeman. His adoptive grandparents are Roberta Spencer and the late Dick Spencer and Roberta and Darrel Clark.

The wedding was officiated by the Rev. Chris Moody, pastor of South Cleveland Church of God. Music was presented by New Art Trio.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Madison Akins of Georgetown, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rachel Lang and Rachel Boggs, both of Cleveland, and Lauren McDaniel of Georgetown.

Matt Roenneburg of Chattanooga, the bridegroom’s brother, was his best man. Groomsmen were Justin Patty, Nathan Anderson and Jeff Young, all of Cleveland.

Children in the wedding party were flower girls, Katelyn Gallaher and Sadie Gallaher, and ring bearer, Sean Gallaher, all of Cleveland.

The parents of the bride gave the reception at the Fillauer House Barn. Schales Green kept the bride’s book.

The newlywed couple will reside in Sumter, S.C., where Mr. Roennburg is stationed at Shaw Air Force Base.
