Rita A. Pike, 61, a resident of Charleston, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at the family residence.

She was a member of Woodland Acres Baptist Church in Calhoun.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Anderson Lamb; and her son, Kenneth Huntsinger.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin O. Pike of Charleston; mother, Mary Frances Lamb of Cleveland; five children: Stacey Haney of Charleston, Michelle Rose of Calhoun, Michael Pike of Charleston, Linda Gail Black of Old Fort and Lora Faye Osment of Chatsworth, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters: Teresa Sherrill of Athens and Robin Marchant of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014, at the New Beginnings Fellowship Church with Pastor Josh Taylor officiating.

Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
