One of Cleveland’s premier lifestyle communities is growing with 112 new homes soon to be available.

The Retreat at Spring Creek Phase II is set to begin opening April 9.

The exclusive 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments feature varieties of floor plans, according to Melanie Wickman, community manager.

Phase II is nearing completion and will give the community a total of 311 lifestyle dwellings.

The Retreat at Spring Creek began its initial phase as a 199-unit, gated-luxury apartment neighborhood off 25th Street N.W. Additional land was obtained to expand the project which encompassed Phase II of the development. The Phase II addition includes additional unit types and additional carriage units with attached garages within its gated community.

The Retreat covers a 19-acre tract at Spring Creek South, located across the street from a 64-acre lifestyle neighborhood called Spring Creek.

Begun in 2007, Spring Creek was the first of its kind in Cleveland and is comprised of 10 acres of retail, an eight-acre business park and over 46 acres of residential. An additional 26 acres across 25th Street, known as Spring Creek South, was being developed for retail when the 13 acres was obtained by TDK for construction of The Retreat.

The Retreat offers the “advantage of a gated neighborhood with the exclusive amenities one might find in a resort.”

The Retreat amenities include: a clubhouse, business resource center, game room, swimming pool, outdoor cabana and cooking station, car wash, sand volleyball court, picnic areas, remote access garages, storage units, 24-hour maintenance service, security gates at entrances.

The Phase II addition will also have a clubhouse, saltwater pool and amenities.

Phase II has seven floor plans.

From one-bed and one-bath dwellings to three-bed and two full-bath homes starting at 796 square feet of living space and up to 1,362 square feet, the new lifestyle living can cater to virtually any family-size need.

The Retreat at Spring Creek apartments have full-size washers and dryers in each unit, sunroom or outdoor patio in select units, wood flooring in kitchen and all appliances included.

Other amenities of the Retreat are a 24-hour fitness center, keyless entrys, ceramic baths, walk-in closets, 9-foot ceilings in some units, balconies or sunrooms in some units, the community building and clubhouse, billiards room, business center, volleyball court, car wash station, outdoor cooking amenities, picnic areas, walking trails and access to the Greenway system.

The Greenway system enables residents to walk under the street to shops and restaurants at Spring Creek, or stroll through the Lee University campus, historic downtown Cleveland, and end at the Museum Center at Five Points.

The Retreat community feels like a resort with all the amenities.

Location was a key to the placement of the Phase I and II Retreat.

Fine foods, exercise, business, shopping … all are located within walking distance.

Businesses in the area keep coming as well. New restaurants are planned to open soon.
