Catrina Rachelle will headline the Cowboy Gospel Jubilee Friday at 7 p.m.

“Catrina has been singing for 30 years,” said Will Nichols, producer of the weekly music show. “She’s been a vital part of some well-known groups.”

“I traveled and sang with my family, The Hastys, the biggest part of my life,” said Rachelle. “I traveled with the group Heirline back in 2004-05. I was with them for 15 months. I also traveled with Shields of Faith for five years.”

“This is actually Catrina’s second Jubilee appearance,” said Nichols. “She was here with Shields of Faith a couple of years ago — and did a fantastic job!.”

Rachelle is also a popular speaker at events, ladies meetings, conferences and retreats. She leads her organization, Daughter of Zion Ministries.

Also appearing on the Jubilee this week is Southern and Contemporary Gospel artist Amy McAlister, award-winning singer-songwriter Elmer Bramlett, “The Wild Man” Danny O’Boyle, and the Cowboy Church Band and Chorale. Nichols, known as “The Gospel Gun” is the announcer.

The Cowboy Jubilee is a come-as-you-are event located between Blackburn Road and Blue Springs Road in the Dockery Heights subdivision. A love offering is taken for the headliners.
