Foundation Dinner
The Polk County Education Foundation held a fundraising dinner at First Baptist Church in Benton with Dr. Roger Crouch as guest speaker. The large group of people attending enjoyed Dr. Crouch telling about his two adventures in space as well as his amusing stories. All funds raised will be used for scholarships for Polk County High students. The foundation is very grateful to Dr. Crouch for serving on the Foundation Board. He is a member of the 1958 Polk County High School Class. The Tennessee General Assembly provided a proclamation, which was presented to Dr. Crouch, center, by state Sen. Mike Bell , left, and Benton Mayor Jerry Stephens, right.
