Pink Ribbon Bowl set for Thursday at WVHS

The Pink Ribbon Bowl will be held this Thursday at 5:30 p.m at Walker Valley High School.

Opening ceremonies will take place at 5:45 p.m. Game 1 will feature Bradley Central vs. Walker Valley at 6 p.m.

At the conclusion of game 1, the Walker Valley Cheerleaders and Chamber Choir will perform, followed by this year's featured speaker Ghena Frazier. A survivor/memorial walk will wrap up the festivities between the first two games. Game 2 will feature Polk County vs. Meigs County. Following game 2, the WVHS Band will perform its entire halftime performance. Game 3 will conclude the evening as Walker Valley will face McMinn County. Local area businesses and organizations will also be located in the vendor area. Concessions will be available at the game.

Advance Tickets for the event are $5 for Adults and $3 for students 12 and under, and are available at all participating schools. Adult ticket prices are $7 at the gate. All proceeds from the Pink Ribbon Bowl benefit the MaryEllen Locher Foundation.

The Pink Ribbon Bowl is sponsored by Cleveland State Community College and Jones Properties.
